What a scary month, never mind Halloween!

And so, once again, the real world has taken over my free time.  October was an insane month, that feels both that it lasted too long, but also that it’s over too soon.  Now November is here, which means that schools are back in, after-school band has started, holiday shopping is just about here, and my sweaters are back into my daily rotation.  Actually, this is a welcome change, and things seemed to have settled down marginally.  I actually have had all of today off!  That is a rare event!
No matter how busy this past month was, I still feel like it was productive and a move in the right direction for myself.  Work has been busy, there are so many details about launching a new brand that I never had thought of, and things keep popping up that need to get finished!  We are still only marginally through this process, but lots of progress has been made, which is incredibly satisfying.  Follow the progress, and watch our process at our Facebook page.
I’ve about doubled my lesson studio in the last 2 months, which was surprising, but great news.  It’s great that there are still parents that are willing to support their child’s music education, even when times are tough for many families.  Also started our after-school band class at Gomes Elementary.  This already is a much smoother year than last, and things are going well!
I’ve got lots of photos to upload, and some posts that need writing.  But, I’m going back to enjoying my day off before I enjoy my night off!
